I have over 20 years experience in construction as a Superintendent. 10 of these years were in Edmonton Alberta with Rescom Construction. In 1992 our family relocated to Victoria and I began with Kinetic Construction Ltd in the role of Superintendent. I have completed hospitals, restaurants and schools. After 10 years with kinetic I started my own construction firm Champagne Ventures Ltd. I build high-end homes for clients and multi family dwellings. After 4 years I was approached by Kinetic Construction to build a Senior’s Centre in Sooke. I decided to take on the project as it was in my own town and fit well into my plan for the business. This project is complete in July, 2008. I am interested in the position of finishing superintendent. I really enjoy the challenges of the final phase of a project, working out the details and watching the final result. I am detail orientated and focus on total communication with the team members. My theory is everyone plays a role in the project from the labourer to the final finishers. Team building is critical to a healthy environment and consequently the final product will reflect the positive environment I plan to implement on the site. I believe in fairness with the trades and crew. Win, win is my goal with a great finished project. I am well experienced with all drawings, specifications and contracts. I am able to work with minimal direction but work well in a team environment. Details are critical to the final result and every trade member must be involved. I am computer driven with extensive experience with Microsoft scheduling and other computer skills necessary for organizing a large project.
